Vehicle fitment

Vehicle fitment guide

Compare your exact vehicle details with reviewed product information before purchase.

Three checks

Confirm the vehicle before choosing a part

Fitment data is structured so operators can update products without editing theme code.

1. Record the chassis code

Use the chassis code shown in your vehicle records. Do not rely on the model name alone.

2. Confirm body style and model year

Match the body style, model year and lifecycle information shown on the product page.

3. Check the fitment status

Only treat compatibility as confirmed when the product is marked Fitment verified and every listed field matches.

Model year alone is not enough to confirm whether an exterior styling part will fit. Two vehicles registered in the same year can use different body styles, bumpers or facelift specifications.

Check these details before ordering

  1. Make and model: for example, BMW 3 Series.
  2. Chassis code: for example, G20 rather than the model name alone.
  3. Body style: Sedan, Coupe, Gran Coupe, Touring, SUV or another stated body.
  4. Trim and bumper: check the actual bumper fitted to the vehicle; M Sport, M Performance and standard specifications can differ.
  5. Facelift version: confirm pre-LCI or LCI where the platform changed during production.
  6. Existing modifications: OEM accessories and aftermarket parts can affect installation space.

Where to check your vehicle

  • Your V5C, registration or vehicle specification record.
  • VIN-based information from an authorised source.
  • The vehicle handbook or manufacturer/dealer record.
  • A visual comparison with the body and bumper shown on the product page.

Before installation

  • Inspect the product and vehicle before starting.
  • Test-fit the complete part before drilling, applying adhesive, painting or making any permanent change.
  • Stop if the shape, mounting position or vehicle specification does not match the product page.
  • Use a professional installer when the fixing method, surface preparation or alignment is unclear.
